The
Reserves
Manager Terry March commented after
this Cup game "Today showed spirit and
character and I thought we were very unlucky to lose
so late in the game. With the younger players gaining
some vital experience, we can only go forward for the
rest of the season. We should learn from this game that
Team Spirit counts for a lot in football"

The
Reserves
could not have given more regarding effort and determination
from every player. Young Jesse Templeman
made his full debut at left back and played very well.
Man of the Match, Frank Curle, was
outstanding in the centre of midfield, creating and
tackling all afternoon and Steve Jolly
was solid as a rock at centre back. We took the game
to Hullbridge and reaped our reward with a well-taken
free kick from Nicky Pinder that ended
up in the back of the net after 39 minutes. 1-0 at half
time.

Manor Reserves
cruised through to the next round of the Essex Premier
Cup against Stansted. The Braves going in 0-3 at the
break and playing some fabulous football. Terry March
Manor Reserves Manager was full of praise for his side
" Today there was no Man of the Match,
every player played their part. It was also good to
see us getting goals from all over the park, lets hope
this will continue in the League on Saturday as we owe
Hullbridge one for nicking the game late on earlier
in the season"

The Manor Reserves Manager included himself in the line
up against Burnham Ramblers. Terry
now at the tender young age of 47 proved that age is
no barrier. Challenging for every ball and showing the
younger members of his squad a thing or two. Terry commented
after the game " Today we were up against
it due to a very weakened team. I was very pleased with
our performance coming back from 0-2 down to equalise
2-2 with only a cruel deflection beating us, as for
me, I am still recovering from all the aches and bruises.
Well done lads you were very unlucky today."
Scorers
for the Manor were S. Jolly F.Curley

Eton
Manor FC Manager
Kirk Whitelock is proud to announce the launch of the
New Manor Reserves Web Pages. Whitelock Said today"
This opens up a new dimension for Eton Manor Football
Club, our Reserves will play an important role for the
Club. We hope that our reserves will act as a pool for
the first team. This will give Stuart Margolis and me
a chance to look at new players without the risk of
putting new players straight into the firing line. You
will now be able to access the same calibre of information
currently enjoyed by the first team. The Reserves will
have a League table section, player profiles, Results
& Fixtures as well as the normal Club News. We are
all excited at this new communication forum and we hope
that people find it informative" |
