The
Manor scored two
goals in the second half to take all 3 points against
a hard working Sawbridgeworth side on Saturday. The
first period saw front man Anton Stephenson
hit the woodwork from a 22 yard free kick.
The second half
and the Manor with the wind at their backs playing some
delightful attacking football whilst the defence stayed
strong. Eton Manor Man of the Match Steve Reading
looked solid all game strengthening his understanding
with Manor skipper Steve Willis.
Manor's first
goal came from a set piece on the edge of the box, Jordan
Childs crosses into the area headed towards
goal by Neil Barratt, Sawbo's keeper
Dan Bibby gets a hand to the ball, however it fell kindly
to Ricky Husseyn who stroked the ball
into the net from close range, making it 1-0 to the
Manor.
The second and
final goal came in the 89th minute, Liam Allen
into the box but was clipped by the advancing keeper,
match official Lee Dorling not hesitating in pointing
to the spot. Stephenson stepped up to land his 32nd
goal of the season making it 2-0 to the Braves.

The
Manor secured
3 points by beating old rivals Clapton on Tuesday night.
The game was as expected for this local derby a feisty
encounter with the Manor coming out the eventual winners.
The Manor reduced
to 10 men in the 37th minute after Anton Stephenson
was given his marching orders for an off the ball incident.
Manor Skipper
Steve Willis taking the lead netted
the Manor opener from a set piece in the 18th minute,
shortly followed by an equaliser, Ex Manor favorite
Ricki DeFreitas scored from a knock-on to slide the
ball past Andy Hall.
Steve Willis
once more scored from a set piece, making the score
2-1 at the break.
The second half
was similar to the first; in that the Manor dominating
proceedings, should have scored a hat-full however,
only one goal converted by Jordan Childs who rounded
a packed Clapton defence to slide the ball home from
inside the box.
3 valuable points
which puts the Manor back into 4th spot and chasing
the front pack at the top of the league.

The
Manor scored a
late winner on Saturday against Barking to take a 1
goal advantage back to Tilbury on the 29th March.
The first period
of the game saw Barking contain a lively Manor side
that were not content with sitting back and defending.
Liam Mulcare coming close in the 43rd
minute when he broke free into the Blues box only to
be denied by Barking's goalkeeper Liam Stone.
The second period
and the Manor now with the wind at their backs caused
Barking a few problems. however, the Manor went down
to 10 men 11 minutes into the restart, Bradley
Nelson shown a straight red for a foul off
the ball.
In to injury
time and the Manor awarded a corner, the ball driven
in by Liam Allen onto the head of Jason
Fox, the ball rebounds off the bar and into
the path of Neil Barratt who heads
the ball into the net, 1-0 to the Manor.
The Manor simply
need to hold their nerve in the 2nd leg to book their
place in the Final of the League Cup.

Wallace - Health Scare
|
Jamie
Wallace was rushed
into hospital on Monday morning. Wallace 28 fell ill
on Monday complaining of loss of breath, and was immediately
rushed into Dartford infirmary.
After close observation,
further tests revealed that the Manor midfielder was
suffering from a blood clot on the lung. Wallace remained
under observation until Wednesday afternoon before being
released from hospital.
Manor Manager
Graham Chester, concerned for Wallace's health visited
him in hospital on Tuesday, Chester said "When
I first heard the news about Jamie on Monday obviously
I was extremely concerned, he was one of our best players
on Saturday against Southend Manor and showed no signs
at all that he was ill. I visited him in hospital on
Tuesday along with my Assistant Manager Tony Leary,
I was pleased to see Jamie sitting up and looking well,
this came as a great relief to know he is going to be
okay"
Wallace will
continue to be monitored over the coming weeks and will
simply need plenty of rest.
Everyone
at the Manor look forward to Jamie's speedy recovery
and all of our thoughts and best wishes go out to him
and his family.

The
Manor secured
all three points on Saturday against Southend Manor.
The Braves made hard work of this match in the first
period, the game level at the break 0-0.
The second period
and the visitors getting a well deserved first goal,
Jamie Wallace started and finished
the move that put Eton Manor ahead.
The second goal
scored from the penalty spot, Steve Reading
cooley slotted the ball into the net to give his side
a 2-0 lead.
The Manor's third
goal scored by new signing Ricky Hussein
playing his debut for the Manor smashes the ball home
from just inside the box.
The Manor remain
in 4th position but continue to close the gap at the
top of the Essex Senor League.

Steve
Reading returns
to Eton Manor Football Club, Reading played his debut
for the Manor back in December 2004 against Southend
Manor and remained a regular and the Manor skipper under
the Management partnership of
Kirk Whitelock & Larry McDonald until April 2007
when he decided to leave due to family Commitments.
Reading took
up his normal central defending role midweek against
Basildon proving he had lost non of his sharpness in
defence by helping the Manor keep a clean sheet against
a determined Basildon United front line of Andy Oxby,
Tom Poole and Graig Gillam.
Reading also
known for his scoring ability in the 2005/2006 season
scored 6 goals and was crowned joint Player of the Season.
After his return
match on Tuesday night Reading said " I
am really pleased to be back at the Manor, I join a
team that has done really well this season under the
guidance of Graham Chester and look forward to being
part of the squad"
Reading will
be included in the squad that travels to Southend on
Saturday to face Essex Senior League rivals Southend
Manor, kick off at 3pm.

The
Manor move into
4th position in the league after their convincing 4-0
win against Basildon United on Tuesday night, Bradley
Nelson notched up his second hatrick of the
Season.
The Manor finding
their rhythm early in the game scored in the 11th minute
when Bradley Nelson stole the ball off of Basildon's
keeper to slot home from close range.
Manors second
scored in the 24th minute, Lee Smith
scoring his first goal of the season from a Corner kick
taken by the Manor's Jordan Childs.
Nelson scoring
his second in the last few minutes of the first period,
as he slots home after Danny Dobson
nodded the ball into the path of Nelson who rounded
the keeper to make the score 3-0 at the break.
The second period
and Basildon dug in, the visitors closed up shop until
the 83rd minute when Jamie Wallace
gets into the box and unselfishly passing across goal
into the path of Nelson who scored from 6 yards out
to score his 3rd and the Manor's 4th of the game to
make the final score 4-0 to the Manor.

The
Manor were made
to work hard for a point against a new look Romford
side on Saturday. The Manor last met Romford mid January
whilst taking all 3 points by winning 4-1, however,
this time round Romford were not going to lay down as
they pushed the Braves right up to the final whistle.
The Manor opened
the scoring in the 24th minute, Jordan Childs
with a fine feed through for Anton Stephenson
who finds the net from inside the box, Romford reply
in the 26th minute when Manzi Mabla levels the score
to 1-1.
Childs again
setting up Stephenson's second goal. Stephenson rounds
the Romford keeper to make the score 2-1 after 32 minutes,
Romford reply once more in the 35th minute, Bradley
Jones this time levels the score 2-2.
The second half
both teams canceling each other out resulting in the
final score 2-2 after 90 minutes.

The
Manor move up
3 places in the League to 5th position thanks to a 87th
minute strike by Bradley Nelson against
Bowers & Pitsea on Wednesday night. The Braves now
with 36 points from 18 games played.
The Manor resting
a few first team players carrying injuries looked in
control for most of the game, some missed chances in
the first half saw the score 0-0 and looked to be heading
for a draw, until Nelson working his way back to full
fitness took his chance well in the closing minutes
of the second half.
Manor Manager
Graham Chester was delighted after
the game he said " I am proud of our lads
tonight, they showed real spirit and worked hard to
get the result needed, only 3 points would have satisfied
me especially after Saturday's disappointment at Hullbridge.
I needed to rest a few players tonight as we have a
few games coming up back to back and we shall be fighting
for every point"

The
Manor looked to
be cruising for the full 3 points until a spirited Hullbridge
side stole a point with two late goals in the dieing
minutes of the game.
The Manor took
the lead in the 15th minute when Danny Dobson
scored from just inside the box. Hullbridge hit back
in the 33rd minute when Chay Spreadbourgh latched onto
the ball in the Manor box and scored from a tidy effort
to make it 1-1.
The Manor get
their second a few minutes later when Anton
Stephenson scores from a corner driven in by
Liam Mulcare.
Stephenson nets
his second of the game after some good work down the
left by Jordan Childs, Childs into
the Hullbridge box turning the defence and lays a great
ball into the path of Stephenson who smashes home to
give the Manor a 3-1 lead at the break.
The second period
and the Manor seemingly in control of the game until
the 88th minute when Hullbridge win a free Kick on the
edge of the area, Substitute Garry Patterson converts
the free kick to make the score 3-2. Now in injury time
and Hullbridge surging forward get an equaliser when
Tyla Phillips smashes the ball home from 6 yards out
to level the score at 3-3.

The
Manor winning
their Semi Final clash against a hard working Southend
Manor side, in the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy. The
Manor last appeared in a Cup Final back in 1938 losing
to Romford in the London Cup.
The Braves had
their work cut out in the opening 15 minutes as the
Sea-siders worked hard to try and penetrate the Manor's
defence. It wasn't until the 39th minute that the home
side managed to break through Southend's stubborn defence,
from a 10 man pass, which lead to Neil Barratt's
neat ball into the path of Anton Stephenson
who drilled the ball home from inside the box.
The second period
and the Braves pressurising the visitors defence, some
great work by Manley Brown in the 55th
minute setting up Kunle Adeoye who
smashes the ball home from outside the box to give the
Manor a 2-0 lead.
The game finished
2-0 to the Braves to great relief to the Eton Manor
faithful 'who can now look forward to facing Concord
Rangers in the Final.

The
Manor taking
a well deserved three points from a game they totally
dominated. The Manor took the game by the scruff of
the neck in the opening few minutes 'but wasn't able
to penetrate a stubborn APSA defence until the 31st
minute 'when Manor front man Israel Toko
playing his home debut slotted home after a delightful
through ball into the box by Courtney Mclean.
The Manor continued
to rain down on the APSA goal, and would have scored
a hatful had it not been for the heroics of APSA's Stand-in
Keeper Simon Bush.
Second half &
the Manor coming close on a number of occasions, Manley
Brown and Kunle Adeoye both
coming close but failed to extend their lead.
The Manor finally
winning 1-0, but could not hide their disappointment
not to have extended their goal average.

Semi
Final Cup draw
took place mid week at the ESL General Meeting. The
Manor still in two Cup Competitions were drawn at home
against Southend Manor in The Gordon Brasted Memorial
Trophy and Barking in the League Cup.
Other Semi finalists
Concord take the home advantage against Enfield 1893
in the Gordon Brasted Trophy, plus also face Enfield
1983 in the double leg, League Cup Semi Final.
The Manor look
to progress into both Cup Finals which will mark this
Season as their best ever since the 1930's when the
Manor were dominant in non-league Football.
The Braves currently
in 6th position in the league after 15 games played
will be looking to strengthen their position throughout
the remainder of the season.

Chester First Team Manager commented after
the mid-week Cup draw, "We have worked
tremendously hard this season to consolidate our current
position, all the players and staff understand my vision
for Eton Manor Football Club 'they are clear on what
I expect both on and off the pitch. We are hungry for
success, but this shouldn't be at all costs, the good
name and preservation of Eton Manor is what is important
here, so we shall quietly continue to get everyone at
the Manor working as a unit without the hullabaloo and
the brass band approach"

Scored twice to notch up his 12th league goal of the
season

The
Manor taking all
three points in a muddy encounter against Romford on
Tuesday night. The game in serious doubt due to adverse
weather conditions, however, the match officials with
the support of Romfords ground staff ensured the game
went ahead.
Romford took
the lead in the early stages of the game, the Manor
defence caught flat footed and paid the price, 1-0 to
Romford.
The Manor respond
in the 15th minute when bustling defender Neil
Barratt scores his 6th Competitive league goal
of the season to draw level.
In the second
period and the Manor hit Romford almost from the kick-off,
Manor striker Anton Stephenson plays
a fabulous ball into the path of Kunle Adeoye
who places the ball into the net, making it 2-1 to the
Manor.
5 Minutes later
'Adeoye once again, this time the ball swung in from
the right into the box by Jordan Childs
'which sets up Adeoye to score his second of the game,
3-1 to the Manor.
The Manor continue
to push hard at the Romford defence and get their reward
in the 86th minute, Ray Coker sends
a superb ball across field into the path of Man of the
Match "Jordan Childs" 'who smashes the ball
past the outstretched hands of Romfords keeper Neil
Finn to make the final score 4-1 to the Braves.

|
The
Manor fought back
from a two goal deficit to win 4-2 against Baking on
Saturday. The Visitors started the brighter in the first
period and capitalised when the Manor lost possession
in their own half. The ball driven in feisty from the
Manor left into the box and Barking's Steve Slade with
only the keeper to beat slides the ball home.
Barking once
again finding space down the Manor left resulted in
Steve Slade netting his second of the game to make it
2-0 to Barking.
The Manor step
up the pressure and force a corner in the remaining
few minutes of the first period, Kunle Adeoye
at the near post looks to have made contact,
but the shot deflecting off a Barking leg making the
score 2-1 to the Blues at the break.
The second half
and it’s now all Eton Manor, a few tactical changes
sees the influential Bradley Brotherton into
the centre of midfield replacing the hard working Neil
Barratt.
Danny
Dobson screams down the Barking right, sends
in a teasing ball across goal, Anton Stephenson
forcing the defender to try and clear with his head
only for the ball smash into the top netting 2-2.
Danny Dobson
once again opening up Barking down the right squares
the ball to the feet of Stephenson who sends a pinpoint
pass to Brotherton, taking his time to readjust his
position before lashing the ball into the net, 3-2 to
the Manor.
The Manor now
terrorising Barking's defence, the final goal scored
by Manor substitute, Loren Dallo, Dallo
onto a great ball from Steve Willis,
Dallo then threads his way into the Barking penalty
box to make the final score 4-2 to the Braves.

The
Manor were overcome
by a clinical Redbridge team effort on Wednesday night.
The Manor 2-0 down at the break, were lucky not to have
conceded more during a last 10 minute spell in the first
period when Redbridge laid siege on the Manor goal.
The second period
and the Manor upped the tempo and were camped for long
periods of time in the Redbridge penalty area, and could
have easily drawn level as the Manor's game become revitalised.
However, it was Redbridge who capitalised on the counter,
scoring twice in the last few minutes of the game, which
allows Redbridge to advance to the Semi Final of the
Essex Senior Cup.

The
Manor secure a
place in the Semi Final of the League Cup after a thrilling
second leg tie against Burnham at Leslie Filed's on
Saturday. The Manor on the back foot after losing the
first leg at Tilbury by 2-1.
It took the Manor
53 minutes before finally Managing to break-down a stubborn
Burnham defence. Anton Stephenson driving
the ball to the by-line, before cutting in from an acute
angle he stroked the ball into the net to make the score
2-2 on aggregate. The Braves needed a second goal to
secure their spot in the Semi Final, this came in the
70th minute, when new striker Manley Brown
got his head onto a corner supplied by Liam
Mulcare to put the Manor in front 3-2.
Burnham refusing
to lay back pull the score level to 3-3 as the game
goes into Extra time.
Extra time first period and Burnham break free down
the Manor right to score, making it 4-3 to the home
side. Into the second period of Extra time and with
2 minutes left on the clock 'Manor Skipper Steve
Willis nudges the ball across the line to level
the score 4-4 on aggregate.
The game to be decided by a penalty shoot-out. The Manor
needing to take 11 penalties with the last falling to
Goal keeping Hero Andy Hall to convert
his penalty kick to give the Manor a well deserved place
in the Semi final of the League Cup.

The
Manor came from
behind to win by a comfortable margin on Saturday against
Sawbridgeworth Town.
Adam Sontag opened
the score for the visitors in the 10th minute. The Manor
left it until the 40th minute to draw level, when Chris
Barratt stabbed the ball home from a corner.
The second period
and the Manor not wasting time in finding their rhythm,
Bradley Brotherton scores from a set
piece to put the Manor in front. The Braves continue
to put Sawbo under pressure, Danny Dobson
feeds a great pass in to the Box, Liam Mulcare
slides the ball in to the path of Kunle Adeoye
who side footed the ball in to the net to make it 3-1.
The Manor playing
some flowing football using the flanks to create many
chances, Marq Odojukan glides down
the right, sending in a superb pass to the feet of Anton
Stephenson who picks his corner to make the
score 4-1. Again the Manor using the width of the pitch
to create their 5th goal, a great one two from Dobson
and Odojukan sees the ball thread through in to the
path of Stephenson and from 6 yards out smashes the
ball in to the back of the net.
The final goal
came after Chris Barratt sent a pinpoint pass across
goal onto the head of Adeoye 'who nods home his second
and the Manor's 6th of the game.

The
Manor came from
2 goals behind to take all 3 points against Mauritius
Sports & Pennant on Boxing Day.
The Braves conceding
in the 4th minute, Mauritius Captain Ahbab Hussain heads
home from close range to put the home side in front,
despite some good chances from both sides the game remained
1-0 at the break.
The second period
and Mauritius hit the Manor on the counter, Stephen
Opoka took his chance well in the 50th minute, Mauritius
now two goals in front. The Manor bench make 3 consecutive
substitutes. The Manor now stepping it up a gear and
sweep down on the Mauritius goal. 75th minute and Anton
Stephenson finds a few yards of space to drill
home for the Manor, 2-1 and game on. A minute later
and Kunle Adeoye smashes the ball into
the net making the score 2-2 after 76 minutes on the
clock.
82nd minute and
Mauritius nearly take the lead, Manor keeper Kenny
Addai makes a fabulous save 'low to his right
to keep the score level.
In the 90th minute
and inform Manor striker Kunle Adeoye sweeps the ball
into the net giving the Manor all 3 points and his second
goal of the afternoon.
The Manor showed
great character to come back from a 2-0 deficit against
a much improved Mauritius side.

The
Manor lose to
Stansted on a bitter cold Wednesday night. The Braves
down 2-0 in the first 6 minutes, Anton Stephenson
managed to pull one back on the stroke of half
time.
Second half despite
the Manor having the majority of possession simply couldn't
penetrate a determined Stansted defence. Some great
chances go begging, front man Kunle Adeoye
came close numerous times by couldn't find the back
of the net. The final score 2-1 to Stansted.
The Manor without
a win in their last three matches look to get the season
back on track starting on the 26th December when they
face Mauritius Sports & Pennant at Aveley, kick
off at 12 noon.
Eton Manor Football Club is pleased to confirm the signing
of Ex Enfield Town player Bradley Brotherton,
Brotherton came on against Stansted for the last 10
minutes is looking to get back to full fitness and is
hopeful to be selected against Mauritius on Boxing Day.

The Manor failed
to impress on a Cold Saturday afternoon against second
in the table Barkingside. Despite the Manor having most
of the possession simply couldn't find the net until
the 90th minute of the game.
Barkingside made
the most of their 3 shots on target by scoring 3 goals
'which keeps them in second spot, 6 points behind Enfield
1893 with two games in hand.
Barkingside went
in at the break 1-0 up, the Manor then raising their
game further in the second period and launched everything
at the home side, but the Braves efforts were met with
some resolute Barkingside defending. The Manor then
caught twice on the counter leaving the score 3-0 to
Barkingside at the 90th minute mark. A late consolation
goal from Manor substitute Neil Barratt nodding home
from close range to make the final score 3-1 to Barkingside.
The Manor's
next game is at home to Stansted in the League on Wednesday
19th December KO at 7:45pm.

Down, but not out 'after Saturdays defeat to
Burnham

The Manor stumbled
in Quarter Final (First Leg) of the League Cup against
Burnham Ramblers on Saturday.
The Manor opened
the scoring in the 43rd minute when Chris Barratt
nodded home from close range. Burnham with the wind
advantage come close hitting the bar from 30 yards out.
The second half
and The Manor poured pressure on Burnhams goal 'but
it was the visitors who scored in the 65th minute. Ward,
dropping his shoulder from inside the box, fires home
the equaliser, 1-1.
As the rain lashes
down in the 81st minute, against the run of play, Burnham's
Nick Muir goes solo down the Manor right, into the box
and lines up his shot past the outstretched hands of
the Manor keeper, Kenny Addai, making
it 2-1 to the visitors.
The Manor men
down, but certainly not out 'as the second Leg at Burnham
will be a tightly fought battle. The Manor Team management
are hopeful that regular first team players missing
from Saturday's clash will be available for selection
come the return leg scheduled in January 2008.

The Manor secured
a Quarter final place in the Fansfocus.com, Essex Senior
Cup. The Braves beating Ryman Premier outfit East Thurrock
United on Wednesday night by 3-0.
The first half
saw a rugged midfield battle, both teams canceling one
another out. East Thurrock with the wind advantage playing
some fluent football, however, the Manor back line staying
strong, with Skipper Steve Willis in
top form contained East Thurrocks attempts on goal.
The second period
of the game and the Manor score after some great work
by Liam Mulcare down the right, the
ball driven in low, Kunle Adeoye slides
the ball to the hardworking Anton Stephenson
who proficiently guides the ball in to the net, 1-0
to the Manor.
The Braves using
the wind to their advantage, keep the pressure on East
Thurrocks defence, Neil Barratt forcing
a mistake and heads off towards goal, the ball rebounds
off a wall of defenders and into the path of Liam Mulcare
who smashes the ball home, 2-0.
The Manor now
full of confidence as they rain down on East Thurrocks
goal. Man of the Match Liam Mulcare once again, in the
right place at the right time as he crushes the ball
into the net after a great feed through by Bradley
Nelson.
A fabulous win
for the Manor, and a great team performance. The Manor
now face Redbridge FC at Tilbury in the last 8 of the
competition.
The Manor's next game is at home against Burnham Ramblers
in the Quarter Finals of the League Cup, first leg on
Saturday 8th December KO at 3pm.

The Manor following
on from their midweek 7-1 win over Mauritius Sports
to bag 3 goals against ESL rivals Basildon Utd on Saturday.
Anton Stephenson opened the scoring
from a tight angle to put the Braves in front in the
27th minute. The Manor continued to put pressure on
Basildon's goal, Chris Barratt coming
close with a well timed header that smashed off the
crossbar.
The second period
and within a few minutes of the restart Man of the Match
Neil Barratt curls the ball into the
net from 18 yards to put the Manor 2-0 up.
Basildon come
close, hitting the woodwork, but Manor Keeper Andy
Hall looking solid as the last line of defence.
Stephenson shows
his composer as he nets his second of the game, sliding
the ball past the keeper to make the final score 3-0
to the Manor.
The Manor's next game is at home against East Thurrock
United in the 4th Round of the Essex Senior Cup on Wednesday
5th December KO at 7:45pm

Hits another fine Hatrick
|
Kunle Adeoye secured
another fine hatrick for the Manor on Tuesday night,
as the Braves cruise through to the Semi Final of the
Gorden Brasted Memorial Trophy, by beating Mauritius
Sports by a comfortable margin.
The first period
saw Eton Manor stutter to find their feet on a boggy
surface, it wasn't until the 20th minute that the Manor
managed to open up the home side,
Kunle Adeoye the scorer. Neil Barratt
Next on the score sheet in the 29th minute from close
range. Mauritius pull one back to make the score 2-1.
A few minutes later Manor Skipper Steve Willis
steady's the nerves as he slots home making the score
3-1. The Manor not having it all their own way, some
fabulous goal keeping by Manor's Andy Hall
kept the score 3-1 at the break.
Early in the
second period and the
Manor score again, Kunle Adeoye scores he's second of
the night. Manor continue to pressure The Mauritius
defence and get their rewards, Adeoye secures his hatrick
on the night and the Manor 5th.
The Manor's sixth
come when the Mauritius Keeper came out of his box with
the ball at his feet, possibly in an attempt to rouse
his team mates, the keeper managing to get to the half
way line, when met by Neil Barratt who makes a solid
tackle, comes away with the ball, punts the ball 45
yards into the empty net. 6-1 to the Manor. With a few
minutes remaining on the clock the Manor score their
7th Jason Fox this time from close
range smashes the back into the net completing a convincing
& comfortable win for the Braves by 7-1.
The Manor's next game is away to Basildon United on
Saturday 1st December KO at 3pm.

Manor skipper
Steve Willis was crowned Player of
the Round for the Second Round of the FansFocus.Com
Essex Senior Cup following a resolute display during
his side's home victory over Romford FC.
Willis again
played a crucial part as the Braves comfortably saw
off the challenge of Wivenhoe Town to become the only
side in the Fourth Round hat to have turned out in each
round of the competition. The former Thurrock man received
the Trophy for his Second Round exploits prior to the
clash at Broad Lane from Essex County F.A. Director
Mike Hemsted.
Willis again
played a crucial part as the Braves comfortably saw

The Manor crashed
out of the FA Vase against Ridgeons League Leaders Needham
Market on Saturday. The game evenly contested until
the 19th minute, when Needham score from a quickly taken
free kick. The game then turned sour in the 22nd minute
when the Match official
Mr Leech sent off Eton Manor's keeper Andy Hall for
a challenge outside the area. The Manor down to 10 men
equalised shortly after when Neil Barratt broke into
the Needham box to slot home.
Needham made
it 2-1 a few minutes before the break. The game remained
even until midway through the second period when Needham
made it 3-1, the extra man now telling as the home side
score their 4th of the game to make it 4-1. Mr Leech
once more stealing the limelight, reducing the Manor
to 9 men, this time showing a second yellow card to
striker Anton Stephenson with 5 minutes remaining on
the clock.
The Game finished
4-1 to the home side, a miserable day for the Braves,
who worked hard, hit the woodwork twice, but just didn't
get the rub of the green on the day.

game is away to Mauritius Sports & Pennant in the
2nd Round of the GBMT on Tuesday 27th November KO at
7:45pm.

The Manor secured
pole position in Group
D of the League Cup by beating Barking 1-0 in the
Manor's last Group game of the competition on Tuesday
night. The Braves now look certain to face Burnham Ramblers,
Runners-up in Group
B in the knockout stages..
The Manor had
plenty of chances to bury the game but had to wait until
the 89th minute to secure the points when Manor striker
Kunle Adeoye back from injury scored
the winning goal.
The Manor's next
game is away to Needham Market in the 2nd Round Proper
of the FA Vase on Saturday 17th November KO at 3pm.

The Manor opened
the floodgates on Saturday against Beaumont Athletic.
Nippy Midfeilder Liam Mulcare scored
after 5 minutes from a Steve Willis pass. The Manor's
second in the 8th minute saw a great solo effort from
front-man Anton Stephenson who rounded
the keeper to slot home. The third coming in the 20th
minute from close range, 6ft 4" Neil Barratt
nodding home from a superb feed in the box by Stephenson.
35 minutes and Bradley Nelson lobs
the Beaumont keeper making it 4-0 at the break.
The second period
and the Manor wasting no time to further their lead,
47 minutes, Bradley Nelson Crushes the ball into the
top right hand corner to make it 5-0.
Beaumont dig
in and work hard to contain a rampant Manor side, chances
go begging until the 78th minute when Bradley Nelson
slots home his hatrick and the Manor's 6th goal of the
game.
The clock ticks
down and there is a plethora of chances for the Manor
to extend their lead, however, credit to Beaumont players
who show plenty of heart to keep the final score line
6-0.

game is Away to Barking in the League Cup Group stage
on Tuesday 13th November KO at 7:45pm.
