Eton Manor continued their good preseason form with
a 4 - 0 win over Old Parmetarians.
Eton Manor opened up the scoring through Michael Daley
after a delightful diagonal ball from Bradley Mills.
Eton Manor continued to dominate and were shortly awarded
a free kick just outside Parmetarians penalty area.
Up stepped Bradley Mills to slot the ball into the corner
of the net.
Eton Manor finished the first half with a 3rd goal
from Bradley Mills after his shot deflected off a Parmetarian
defender leaving their goalkeeper stranded.
2nd Half
Eton Manor continued their good work with Victor working
tirelessly in midfield. Finally we made a breakthrough
in the 70th minute. A ball from the left was brought
under control by Jay, who turned and slotted the ball
low into the net.
Eton Manor looked very convincing in this preseason
friendly and we look forward to the start of the new

ETON MANOR (1) V HULLBRIDGE SPORTS (2) Saturday 4/9/04
Team :- Paul Buck, Adam Hole, Ryan Stevenson, Chris
Gooch, John Wharmsby, Frank Curley, Badley Mills, Victor,
Abdul Mustapha, Jay Felice, Michael Daley.
Subs :- Leo Cole, Matt McDonald, Robert Rose, Anton.
Goalscorer :- Jay Felice
1st Half
Eton Manor started well in their first game and took
control from the start. After 37 minutes we went to
sleep, and trying to catch the opposition offside, we
let their player run through to score making it 1 -
0. We then tightened up our play and Jay Felice turned
his defender and whipped in a left footed shot that
beat the keeper making it 1 - 1 after 42 minutes. With
about a minute to go we played some good football down
the right when Bradley Mills was brought down in the
box. Jay stepped up to take the penalty and the keeper
saved it. 1 - 1 at half time.
2nd Half
We totally dominated the 2nd half with the Hullbridge
Keeper pulling off save after save. With only two minutes
to go and our Centre Back off the pitch getting treatment
for an injury, Hullbridge scored a very soft goal to
win the game 2 - 1.
Terry March (Manager).
MANAGERS COMMENTS :-
With our first game of the season I was very pleased
with the way we played. It has not taken long for the
players to gel as a team and even though we lost, which
was against play, we kept our discipline and should
have won the game. We have a good team spirit and I
can only see things getting better.
Terry March (Manager).
