“A NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUDE”

1st Half

Bradley Mills scored again for Eton Manor after 20 minutes with a right footed shot. Manor were well on top in the first half, going in 1 – 0 at half time.

2nd Half

In the second half a diabolical decision was made by the linesman to give APSA a penalty from a well-timed tackle from Waddud. They scored from the spot to make it 1 – 1. Soon after we went 1 – 2 down then in the 72nd minute we equalised with a good move, a chipped in ball from Michael Daley, Steve Jolly headed on and in came big Goochy to head his first goal of the season. We then lost concentration and a defensive mix up right on the 90th minute cost us, making us go down 2 – 3. With hardly any time left we broke away and Bradley Mills slotted home the equaliser and his second of the match making it 3 – 3.

MANAGERS COMMENTS

“PHEW” WHAT A DAY!

1 – 0 up then I get sent off (mistaken identity) for swearing at the linesman (supposedly). Atrocious weather and a very dubious penalty summed up the day, but to equalise in the 92nd minute made it all worthwhile. I must say what spirit we have, we never give up hope of scoring.

Also a few words for our Man of the Match – Gareth Palmer, he was playing out of position and then Micky and I decided to push him up front. He led the line well and deserved getting the Man of the Match tag.

WELL DONE LADS.

Terry March (Manager).
