10 minutes gone

Manor looked to have secured a free kick 10 yards out
of the Manor area. A Sawbo player looked to have fouled
with a high kick, as the Manor prepare to take the free
kick the Match official deciding to give the kick to
Sawbo? Confusion led to the Manor keeper out of his
box in preparation to take the free-kick, Sawbridgeworth

The Manor battle
to contain the long balls assisted with a strong wind.
Bradley Nelson involved in a crunching tackle comes
off worse as he is carried from the field and is replaced
by Bradley Brotherton.
Liam Mulcare
using his pace to open up the Sawbo defense, fires at
goal from 20 yards out, just over the bar.

The Manor back
four looking solid, Barry Brotherton playing his debut
for the Manor, looks competent on the ball, showing
silky skills as he brings the ball to safety.

by Liam Mulcare to the feet of Bradley Brotherton whose
shot is blocked off the line, the ball falls to Chris

push the ball over the bar.

Marq Odojukan
with a delightful touch to gain yardage down the right,
looks up before sending a 30 yard pass to Anton Stephenson

Braves back line staying strong. Jason Fox heads the

pass across goal, over the head of two defenders and
the keeper and onto the waiting head of Kunle Adeoye
'who Gently nods the ball into the net to make the final
score 6-1 to the Manor.

Not a classic
in the first half, the Manor were forced to work hard
against a strong wind. Some notable performances today,
Adeoye and Stephenson proving once again that they are
a lethal combination up front, both worked hard and
took their chances well. The Brotherton "brothers"
looked very competent on the ball, both high contributors
to the result. Liam Mulcare continues to improve at
this level, high energy work rate and contributed in
3 of the 6 goals scored today, Danny Dobson had a good
game, let his football do the talking and despite being
on the receiving end of some late tackles, without any
fuss simple got on with the job of causing problems
for Sawbo down the right hand-side.
Man of
the Match however, goes to Marq Odojukan, proved a brick
wall in defense and created so much down the flanks,
showed great appetite & attitude and despite his
lack of match fitness gave 100%.
