at the same time have formed a great understanding &
awareness together get the game started.

Opening few minutes
and its Greenford who strike first, the ball driven
in from the left flank into the Manor box, the ball
sits up nicely, however, luckily for the Manor the shot
was off target!
The Manor struggling
to keep possession, look to panic as they revert to
“a long ball tactical game” cries from the
Manor bench to keep the ball on the ground could be
heard, however, it is Greenford that look the more composed
in the early exchanges.

The Manor attack
down the right handside, Anton Stephenson, to the by-line,
cuts into the area and shoots across goal and into the
path of Adeoye who is only a fraction of a second late
at the back post as the ball goes out for a goal kick.

confidence pour pressure on the Manor goal. Manor Skipper
Steve Willis organising his back line of Mclean, Fox
& Smith to stay firm and weather the storm for the
remaining minutes of the first period.

The second half
and the Manor make their first substitute, Lee Smith
making way for returning defender Chris Barratt.
The Manor responding
to the obvious instructions of the Manor Manager Graham
Chester during the break, as the Braves seem much more
organised and determined as they level the score in
the 49th minute, Anton Stephenson using his 6ft frame
to propel himself through a packed Greenford defence
to slide the ball home, making the score 1-1.

The Manor now
in control, as they push the ball forward and revert
to their normal game plan & rhythm. Some great off
the ball movement by Liam Mulcare down the right allowing
the Manor to spread the ball wide.
55 minutes gone,
Junior Konadu nudges the ball forward to Liam Mulcare
who whips the ball in from the right, the ball bounces
high between the keeper and Kunle Adeoye, Adeoye gets
to the ball first and nods the ball over the keeper
to put the Manor in front, 2-1.

Two minutes later
and Greenford hit back from some good one touch football
that opens up the Manor defence, 2-2.
Manor makes their
second substitute, Ray Coker on for Ricardo Amado.
Manor attack,
this time Adeoye the supplier, crosses the ball from
the by-line, Ray Coker in at the back post, but’
just mistimed his run as the ball falls over the line
and out for a goal kick.

68th minute,
the Manor spreading the ball wide to Mulcare, who chips
the ball into the path of Stephenson as the bustling
Striker heads off towards goal, with a defender on either
side of him, Stephenson powers through and gets within
20 yards of goal and rockets the ball into the net,
3-2.

Greenford come
close to level the score, one on one with the Manor
keeper, Chamberlain Fankem down low to make a superb
& crucial save to keep the Manor in front.

The Manor extend
their lead in the 72nd minute, again the ball driven
in with pace from the right, Stephenson in the box blasts
the ball from about 15 yards and smashes the net 4-2
to the Manor.

Manor’s
third sub, injured Steve Willis makes way for Jason
McCarthy.

Greenford take
a corner, the ball bullets in across goal, not dealt
with by the Manor and inches away from an incoming red
shirt.

As the minutes
tick by, Anton Stephenson nearly scoring his 4th, but
instead rattles the crossbar from the edge of the box
after some good work by the Manor's Jamie Wallace.
The Game comes
to a close and the Manor winning the game in the second
half ‘looked relieved’ as they came off
the pitch. Greenford gave a good account of themselves
and showed why they have won 5 out of their 7 fixtures
in the league this season.

The Manor showing
their class in the second half, proving once again "when
their backs are against the wall are more dangerous
to play against"
