was ready to pounce.

form holding off 3 or 4 heavy challenges from Leverstock

being chewed by the Greens fans as the Manor used up
the dieing minutes in the first half to keep the pressure
on the Greens goal.

a free kick 25 yards out, the ball hit fiercely swerved
and looked to be a certain goal, the Greens keeper just
getting his figure tips to the ball to push it out for
a corner.

the first half with another attack on goal which sees
Skyers shot go just over the bar.
The 2nd period,
starts just like the first, with Leverstock taking the
initiative and causing the Manor problems. Leverstock
again put the ball in the net but the goal disallowed
for an infringement on Carl Prince.

both coming close from a corner but was desperately
cleared by the Greens defence.

the offside trap and found themselves in a on a one
on one situation with Carl Prince, who did superbly
and courageously well to block the shot with his body.

their experience to run down the clock much to the irritation
of the Manor who try and gather the ball at every opportunity.

the half way line sends a delightful ball into the area,

the bar.

in some desperate defending, however, were relieved
to hear the final whistle.
The Manor can
hold their heads up high as they did themselves proud
today. They worked as a unit and only for the sake of
a few seconds lapse of concentration in the first half
would earned a reply.
