Town exploded into life within the first 7 minutes of
the game and lead 2-0. The Manor caught in possession
again, allowed The Towner's to hit them early. The first
in 5 minutes from Peter Davies after a great ball from
Allen. The second virtually from the restart, this time
Allen going solo and from 20 yards sent a cracking shot
over the outstretched arms of Carl Prince. The Manor
refused to lay back and attacked The Towner's, Prosper
Lobe shooting just of the bar from a free kick. Two
new debuts tonight saw Manors Steve Reading and Chrissie
Hammond get involved in the action, Hammond coming close
when he broke free but jugged offside!

The second half Manor dominated the game coming close
on several occasions, Chris Hammond being replaced by
Lewis Jones and Ben Smith then replaced Hall in the
Town goal for his debut appearance. Sammy Marks really
on form tonight and causing problems for the Towner's
down the right hand side. 63rd minute and a Manor cornerl,
fell to the feet of Lewis Jones who took his shot well
and scored 2-1 to the Towner's.
Enfield Town coming Close with
Pamplin using is strength and experience to unsettle
the Manor defence.

75th minute saw Manor's Bradley
Mills send a great ball over to Marks on the right,
Marks making ground and sent the ball onto the feet
of 17 year old Steve Whitelock and from 10 yards out
looped it over the head of Smith 2-2. The game hotting
up and both teams looking for the winner, Lobe came
close when a scrambled ball in the Towns area was palmed
away by Smith. Enfield Town had their chances but failed
to convert. In the final few minutes Marks broke free
down the right hand-side and running towards goal virtually
unchallenged mis fired his shot wide of the goal.
The game finished 2-2. Great come back by the Manor,
both teams playing without key players, but managed
to pull off a cracking and entertaining game for the
frozen crowd.

Some excellent performances tonight from the Manor,
young George Fullbrook had another start tonight, looking
much more comfortable on the ball and should do his
confidence the world of good. Lewis Jones & Steve
Whitelock both on the score sheet. Bradley Mills another
fabulous performance will be giving The Manor Manager
Kirk Whitelock team selection headaches as the regular
first team players start to return from suspension and
injury. Steve Reading and Tony Barnes look comfortable
at the back and Prosper Lobe who at only 18 years of
age is proving to be a real sensation in Midfield. The
Manor can take pride from the performance tonight.

With Quinn, Morritt, Mitchell, Barrett, Richards, Docherty,
Felice and AJ all waiting to come back from suspension
or injury the Manor are looking strong to start rising
up the league table and at full strength will be an
outfit not to be taken for granted.
