the Brentwood area for Chris Barrett to head wide of
the Brentwood goal.

17 minutes and Isa who was a handful for the Manor

the ball around the pitch. The Skipper for the Manor
Glenn Connolly keeping good possession kept the Brentwood
defence busy.

had time lined up a delicate pass over the heads of

right cuts in and fires he's shot just over the bar.

21 minutes and the best move of the match saw Brentwood
spray the ball from right to left in one smooth movement

it 2-0 to Brentwood. The Manor noticeable rattled tried
hard to compose themselves.

the right from Barrett, purred down the wing, drawing

level and Manor looking more in control of the game.
Brentwood now starting to look disjointed.

feet of Prosper Lobe 40 yards from the Brentwood goal,

into the top right hand-side of the goal leaving Dave
Pether the Brentwood Keeper no chance what so ever!.

The second half was a midfield battle for most of the
period. Brentwood having the better chances and coming
close to equalise in the 58th minute when Isa broke
free and pushed the ball just wide of the Manor Goal.
The Manor having their chance in the 69th minute when
Mills sent Gastaule down the middle, with Connolly to
his right and Whitelock to his left tangled with Chris
Neville Brentwood defender in the centre of the park
and lost possession! 75 minutes and 15 year old Lewis
Jones on for George Fullbrook who had worked his socks
off and was in the thick of the action for most of the
afternoon.

85 minutes and Hussein Isa had another opportunity
when collecting the ball form some great build up play
shooting just wide of the Manor post. 88 and the last
attack coming from Brentwood when the ball was sent
down the left and into the danger area, Prince spotting
the danger and came running out of his goal and bravely
smothered the ball.

The much needed 3 points was gratefully taken, lifting
the Manor up three places in the League with games in
hand of teams above them. Some fabulous displays today
by the Manor, Joe Morritt worked hard down the left
hand-side. The whole back four looking solid after 21
minutes of the game. Prosper Lobe getting better each
game he plays. Not forgetting some of the younger squad
members, George Fullbrook after a rocky first 20 nervous
minutes settled into the game and looked useful on the
ball, Steve Whitelock who came on for the injured Felice
looked composed on the ball and scored Manor's second
with a cracking 20 yard bullet, and last but not least
Bradley Mills voted Man of the Match, normally a striker
but stepped into midfield at the last moment due to
Paul Docherty having to pull out showed what an all
rounder this young 17 year old is. Worked tirelessly
all afternoon and well deserved the MOM award.
Man of the Match: Bradley Mills, the
Manor youngster totally committed. Gave 100% and showed
what an up and coming talent he is.
