Town right from the kick off put The Manor
under pressure with some fabulous one touch football,
it wasn't long before the visitors scored their first
goal of the game, a lovely pass down the left met by
a superb run from the Towns Cary Wright to score from
10 yards out and with only 2 minutes on the clock.

The game become a midfield
battle until the 12th minute when a great ball down
the middle from Barrett into the path of Jason Haniff
who just needed to beat the Enfield Town keeper lost
the ball!, the Town defended quickly and sent the ball
straight into the Manor half and into the path of Hall
who scored to make it 0-2 to the Towner's.

The Manor had very few chances
and were pinned back in their own half for long periods
of time, Forde and Skipper for the afternoon Billy Cove
were cut off by the resolute Town back four. 39 minutes
gone and Enfield Town attacked yet again to find Asiedu
who was superb all afternoon go alone virtually the
whole length of the Manor half to score a brilliant
solo effort past the outstretched arms of the Manor
Keeper Carl Prince to make it 0-3 to Enfield Town. Asiedu
in his celebration of the goal was booked for removing
his shirt!
After the break The Manor seemed
to play with a bit more urgency, some lovely moves from
Lee Whitelock in the middle of the park, laid on some
great through balls for the two Manor strikers Forde
and Cove to run onto. The Town quick to gather their
momentum from the back and playing some really great
football took the game to the Manor.
The Manor struggled at times
to deal with the pace of the Town's two strikers. In
the 48th minute Billy Cove nearly pulling one back by
sneaking around the back post and just knocking it wide.
Some more good build up play from the Towner's and In
the 50th minute saw Hall scoring his second of the game
and The Towner's fourth.

The Town were now playing some fantastic football,
not wanting to take anything away from the Town's performance
the Manor were poor, mainly because Enfield Town were
keeping so much possession. 58 minutes gone and another
Town attack saw Carl Prince make a super save from a
fierce shot, Prince just pushing the ball over the bar.

65 minutes The Town now playing flowing football were
looking for their 6th but got caught on the counter
attack by some excellent defending by Gary Scales pushing
the ball up field, Asa Pamplin looking strong put the
ball in the net to make it 1-4.
Enfield Town came straight back at the Manor and applied
more pressure on the Manor defence and in the 74th minute
got their 5th goal from Kitenge from just outside the
box.

76th Minute the Manor looking to get another pushed
the ball wide to Armstrong who cut a beautiful ball
to Whitelock just shooting wide of the Towner's goal.
78th Minute Prince called into action again just putting
his leg in the way of what should have been The Towner's
7th.
84 minutes and The Manor attacked finding Forde just
inside the Towns area was upended and the referee pointing
