The first few minutes and Stansted take a corner, taken short and flicked on to the far post, Carl Prince doing some sterling working blocking a fierce shot with his legs.

Stansted not getting all they own way as Ray Coker sends a delightful chip down the left handside over the advancing defence and right into the path of Chris Hammond who sliced his shot into the Keepers hands.

Chances go begging at both ends scores staying level after 15 minutes, Michael Beggs Stansted striker looking lively and came close in the 17th minute but for Manor stand-in Skipper Chris Barratt who stood his ground, superbly and bravely tackled Beggs in his own penalty area to clear any danger.

22 minutes gone and Stansted come close with a strike from 35 yards that cannon's off the bar!

The Manor hit first, Connolly starting the attack with a perfect pass over the top of the Stansted defence into the path of Billy Powell who slots the ball to the right hitting the inside of the post before going in 1-0 to the Manor.

Immediately from the retake, Stansted equalise, Michael Beggs making it 1-1. The Manor also wasting no time in trying to get back the lead, Powell again looking for an opening as he crushes a shot from 30 yards just wide of the post.

The Manor finding it hard to handle the blistering pace of the Stansted Number 10 Michael Beggs who looked in good form tonight. Danny Beattie Manor defender doing a sterling job on the young striker.

38 minutes and a big loss for the Manor as Steve Reading Manor defender is injured and limps off the field. Replaced by Urfat Hussain and Whitelock changing the formation from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2.

Stansted take a corner only to be cleared as far as an approaching Stansted striker who hits the ball cleanly and on the volley, this shot producing an absolutely first class save from Manor's No 1 Carl Prince, who had to go full stretch to his left to make this outstanding save, appreciated by both sets of supporters.

The 2nd half sees a similar trait that has plagued the Manor all season, and that is 5 minutes after the restart Manor conceded, this time from a free kick 25 yards out of the Manor area. 2-1 stansted. The Manor try and reply almost immediately, with their own free kick in a similar position, the ball floated in and nodded wide by Barratt.

Michael Beggs receives the ball in acres of space running towards goal with only Prince to beat, rounds the keeper making it 3-1.

Glenn Connolly tormenting Stansted down the right sending a fabulous long range shot towards goal, forcing The stansted keeper to push the ball over the bar. The Corner taken quickly into the path of Billy Powell who makes it 3-2, scoring his second of the night.

Again Manor fall fail of losing concentration, straight after the restart, Stansted score again making it 4-2.

Glenn Connolly playing some truly great football and proving what a class player he really is, gathering the ball at his feet and charges down the right with electrifying pace, sends in a great ball only to be cleared by a determined Stansted defence.

Young Chris Hammond, Manor centre forward showing what he can do as he scores the best goal of the night with a Solo effort down the centre of the Park, after Paul Docherty sent a fabulous pass into his path. Hammond without hesitation planting the ball firmly hitting the top netting making it 4-3.

The final few minutes was a nervous affair for Stansted as they tried to wind down the minutes by slowing the pace of the game, however, the Manor continued to pile on the pressure, even Carl Prince Manor keeper going up for the last two remaining corners. The game eventually ending 4-3 to Stansted, a truly great football spectacle. Played in a good spirit.

Some great performances tonight, Stansted's Michael Beggs looked awesome and punished the Manor with two goals. Carl Prince's save was a memorable part of the game and proves how important this talented keeper is the Manor. Billy Powell only 50% match fit and scores two for the Manor, much to look forward to when he finally becomes 100% fit! Ray Coker solid player he is making a big difference to the Manor. Chris Hammond this guy has real talent, needs to believe in himself a bit more, but his goal tonight was top class. Lee Smith another new addition looks quality another young lad that simple needs match fitness. And last but not least Glenn Connolly an old Manor favourite, looked head and shoulders the best player on the pitch, and took Man of the Match honours this evening.
